There has been a concerning increase in car thefts and break-ins across the Pōkeno area. In response, we’d like to remind residents that Pōkeno has an active Community Patrol, working in partnership with Police to help deter crime and keep our neighbourhood safe. Would you like to play a part in keeping Pōkeno safe?
We’re looking for community-minded individuals to join us. All it takes is a minimum commitment of just 2 hours per month—more if you're available—and a willingness to contribute to a safer, more secure community. With Pōkeno’s population now nearing 7,000 residents, the need for local involvement has never been greater. As a Community Patroller, you'll play a meaningful role in maintaining the well-being of our growing town.
