Dhanak Humayun is a New Zealand citizen, born and raised in Kuwait to Indian parents, and proudly serves as a member of the Pōkeno Community Committee. With a Master’s degree in Computer Science, she blends innovation with creativity across multiple fields.

An award-winner fashion designer, Dhanak is the founder of Rakshi’s Design, known for its couture gowns celebrating New Zealand culture and craftsmanship. She is also a commercial model and the founder of DH Events, through which she has led numerous charity initiatives and community events. Dhanak is deeply committed to inclusive, culturally enriched development and proudly represents the diverse voices of the Pōkeno community.
