I’ve been in Pokeno for a little over 7 years and am currently in my third term on the Committee, having served one term as Chair. My background is a varied one. I spent 20 years as an officer in the NZ Army then in senior management at MOTAT and the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongariro.  I then held CEO roles with YMCA New Zealand, the RNZSPCA and Franklin Hospice.

My governance experience includes being the founding Chairman of both Ara Taiohi - the national youth organisation - and White Ribbon New Zealand. I am one of the local Justices of the Peace, a Judicial JP and on the Council of the Franklin JP Association.  I am married with three adult children and five grandchildren.
